Services
Tropical Breeze Pools is a state-licensed contractor that can help you with any of your swimming pool needs. Our service offerings include: Chemical Maintenance, Full-Service Maintenance, Repairs, and Renovations.
Consistent Quality of Services:
We have a stringent approach that ensures all of our customers get consistent quality for every service provided.
Quality Control – Our quality control system involves a methodical approach to ensuring quality. Monthly, we randomly inspect a number of pools for each technician. Additionally, one of our managers routinely rides with each technician. Technicians receive bonuses for passing their quality-control tests.
Knowledge Database – We have a knowledge database with an extensive amount of information about our customers’ pools. This information ensures each technician who services your pool has a complete picture of your pool’s history of chemical readings, chemical usage and equipment.
Services Offered:
Chemical Maintenance
Our chemical maintenance is designed for properties that want the expertise of our staff in testing and balancing the swimming pool water, but prefer to utilize their staff for the cleaning of the pool.
Services provided:
Each property is visited three days per week (or different if negotiated), and the following services are performed:
- A uniformed technician with a name badge checks in with a representative from your property.
- Pool water is tested and readings recorded on the Department of Health log sheets.
- Chemicals are added or chemical feeders are adjusted to ensure the pool water remains in compliance with Department of Health guidelines.
- Chemicals (chlorine, acid, DE, or other negotiated chemicals) are left in a designated location for use between visits.
Full-Service Maintenance
Our full-service maintenance is our most popular offering and appeals to properties that want to outsource the complete maintenance of their pool. The frequency of service visits can be customized from two to seven days a week, but most properties find that three days a week is sufficient. With three days a week, your maintenance staff may need to do some moderate cleaning between visits, but that is usually caused by unusual weather or heavy pool usage.
Services provided:
During each visit, a uniformed technician with a name badge checks in with a representative from your property. Our maintenance visits include cleaning, chemical testing and treatment, and inspecting and maintaining your pool equipment.
Cleaning
We do whatever it takes to clean your pool. Some of the specific activities include:
- Cleaning tiles with tile soap and/or degreaser
- Brushing
- Vacuuming
- Netting
- Cleaning spillovers
Chemical Testing & Treatment
The pool water is tested during each visit, and the readings are recorded on Department of Health log sheets. The appropriate chemicals or feeders are adjusted to ensure the pool water remains in compliance with Department of Health guidelines.
Chemicals included as part of the maintenance are:
- Chlorine
- Acid
- Sodium Bicarbonate
- Stabilizer
- Clarifier
- Algaecide
Occasionally, your pool will require additional chemicals, and you will be contacted.
Equipment Maintenance
During each visit your equipment is inspected to ensure it is working properly. Inspections and maintenance consist of:
- Checking the pool pumps
- Inspecting the chlorinator(s) and/or chemical feeder(s)
- Maintaining the filter. Based on the required Department of Health flow rates for your pool, your filter is cleaned and degreased as needed.
Each technician carries an inventory of the most commonly used pool parts. The technician will conduct any necessary adjustments. On the spot repairs minimize down-time of your pool and reduce the overall cost of repairs. These are not common and are typically only a few dollars. If your pool requires a significant repair, we will shut down your pool and will seek your approval prior to conducting the repair.
Repairs
Our staff is trained and licensed to address any repair your pool may need. Some of the most common repairs we conduct are:
- Pump repairs/replacement
- Motor & seal replacement
- Filter repairs/replacement
- Valve repairs
